ABOUT US

Swaramudra Dance Academy is a temple. The aim of Swaramudra is to endorse, emulate and encourage

art. As inimitable as a dance style is said to be, with Swaramudra we have tried to evolve a style that

falls in line with the discipline and chastity of the Gurukula (Sanskrit for School). Currently based in

Ontario, Canada, Swaramudra Dance Academy was founded and run in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for almost two

decades . Swaramudra specializes in the Indian dance forms of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiyattom

and the Indian folk forms. Training over four batches of students from different age groups, currently,

Swaramudra Dance Academy runs at three locations in Canada - Hamilton, Burlington and Mississauga,

on a weekly fixed schedule.
